Unfortunately for me I have to replace the power pack on my '94 Johnson 150 (J150GLERA). Does anyone know what I should torque the bolts to once I put the new part on? Hate to spend the additional $$$ for a service manuel - the power pack is setting me back far enough as it is. Appreciate an help!

My 1986 225hp calls for the packs to be torqued down to 60-84 INCH LBS .....NOT LBS!! so we are talking snug, not crazy tight like you were in fear of a brake caliper falling off. I would run tap in the holes to cut away the corrosion and use antisieze on the bolts. Sand the top boss of the bolt hole gently to get any corrosion off and leave bare metal. On the pack there is a ring of copper on each hole, you need that copper touching the block to properly ground the pack.

You really need to get a service manual...they are not too expensive
