Touch Up Paint For Mercruiser Drives

Howdy All,

Does Merc sell touch up paint for their outdrives, like the little tubes you can for your vehicle?

If not what brand is best for this? Hoping black is black from one manufacturer to the next.

I just prime and paint with rustoleum high gloss. It blends well.

original paint is PPG 9000 black, also called GM tuxedo black

As odd as it may sound, there are tons of blacks on the market. It is unbelievable how many. Same with whites as well. And unless you could see them side by side, it always looks the same. But set them side by side and it becomes obvious the differences. I use PPG paints and for black I use 9700 black. 9700 black is made by so many manufactures and for the most part, supposed to match from one manufacturer to another. But I would have to verify that myself. JMHO
