1995 Evinrude 115,

Always have to fast throttle to get it started. Any recrank in the water has the same problem. When I'm flushing the engine it always cranks right up.

Any suggestions,

thanks
Evin - Sounds normal. You should also notice a difference in idle rpm. The difference is due to backpressure when in the water. Not a cause for concern.
Thanks SoLittle,

Is it normal on most outboards to have to give the throttle a little extra gas in neutral to start. I'm running a 1995 Evinrude 115.
