Tougher spare carrier

Broke another one of these yesterday, the 400 miles of towing a few weeks ago must have vibrated it enough to crack it at the welds.
Fulton Hi-Mount, Bolt-On Spare Tire Carrier STC1000101 - iboats

Anyone ever used this one or have another alternative that will hold up?

The tires on my trailer are not that big 185's on 14" rims

OEM.....16 years and 50-60K miles later, still going strong.

The reviews indicate that at least some people are having the same problem that I'm having with my other carrier - snapping at the welds.

So far I've been lucky and the 2 breaks haven't resulted in the tire and carrier leaving the trailer completely.
