Hey guys
I think I found a boat but there's only one thing I'm concerned with. The boat I am looking at seems to have a fairly low tow eye hook location. It's hard to say without actually seen the boat in the water (going for a test drive next Tuesday), but it looks like it would only be 18 to 24 inches above the water when on plane. I know that my current boat probably has 3 foot of clearance between the water and where the rope attaches which seems to be the perfect height. I'm just worried if the tow eye hook is too low, it would almost want to pull you forward as you cut across the wake. Anybody have any experience with this issue?
