Towed in!!!!!!!!!

I have a 2002 evinrude 135 ficht. Today it was running fine until it bogged to idle and then quit. Turned over but unable to start. After 15 minutes or so it started again and 15 seconds later did the same thing. Fuel problem? Had a Dfi guys give give me a rebuilt emm 1 1/2 ago for a different problem. Any suggestions .

I would check for fuel issues first, hopefully thats it because it would probably be the easiest fix. There is a fuel water seperator on the motor, take it off and dump it into a clear container and see what it looks and smells like.

Check your spark. It should jump a 7/16 " open air gap on a spark tester.

I didn't know there were still Fichts still out there running. Any trouble lights/beeps along with the shut down?

Description reminds me of fuel starvation due to partially blocked fuel line, hole in line so you're drawing air or a bad fuel pump. (check in that order because thats cheapest first)
