Ok so far she's running good. however i can't seem to get her going faster then 27 mph on a calm lake with no wind

I drained the lower unit oil and pumped it back up with 85-150 high pressure gear oil. Is that going to be a problem?

Also since i was face to face with the prop for an hour while doing that I noticed that out of the three fins one is bent to a "steeper" pitch then the other two, could this be effecting performance and if so how much (worth replacing?)

Prop condition can have a tremendous effect on performance. We hit som rocks with a prop once, and then tried to waterski. The boat would only go 9MPH.

What HP motor? What kind of boat? What RPM at WOT? What Pitch Prop?

All are essential questions.
