tower on a cuddy?

hey, maybe a dumb question, but can you mount a tower on a cuddy boat?

I have one on mine but it's called an arch....

I reckon if it dint have all those rod holders and lights and instead had a boom box and all the other doodads that come with that sport it'd be called a tower.

Wrked out fine for me but i custom built mine to my boat.

Generaly the only issue is HOW well the boat is built and IF you can get to the mounting areas to install backing plates



Most tower builders will want a minium thickness of glass at the mount points

You can definately put a tower on a cuddy. Here's a pic of my boat. I reinforced the fiberglass with a peice of 1/2" PT plywood and used the backing plate that came with the monster tower - no problems with cracked glass at all. I also put a 600lb fat sac in the cabin and plumbed in a reversible simmer pump for fast and easy fill/drain.
