Towing a 16' SS with a 1995 Nissan pickup?

I am wondering if I can safely tow a 16' StarCraft SS with a 70 HP Evinrude with my 1995 Nissan pickup 2WD. Any advice?

Sure you can.

You have about a 1400# rig, and your truck will do it, except if its a 2.4 L 4 cylinder- it may struggle on the highway.

No problems. My dad towed a 1973 Chieftan 21' with his '93. 2.4l/ 5spd. It was just in the weight rating ( dry ) of the truck to be legal. Probably 4-500 lbs over when loaded up.. It was nicknamed the tuna can because we would pile 3 people in the truck, then drive 3 hours to go fishing.. Had to choose the right routes with the best hills that had running starts, but it always made it safe..

These boats are light...here's my tow rig, no issues whatsoever. 2.5 liter Subaru, and I'm actually trying to buy a Forester as our second car with the same engine/trans. No need for a big truck if you don't need one otherwise:
