So i am hoping since the boat is a 86 bayliner capri. With what appears to be the original trailer and what normally comes with the boats like mine, that this is in the correct area. I am wondering if anyone else has this problem that i am having while i tow it.

When i look out my side mirrors to check traffic and tires and anything else i can see from them behind me it appears that one side is showing more then the other side. Is it a mirrior thing or is it something else.

Things i have done to try and correct this are very few but i have made sure psi is equal on the tires, i dont see one sticking out farther then the other. I have even gone so far as to take a tape measure on a slow day down to the dock measure the boat from bunk to bunk and side of boat to side of bunk and it is all equal on both sides. Not sure if it matters but it always appears to be the driver side of the car i see more on then the pass side. I cant see any damage to the trailer in any other area. Hopefully this isnt something to be worried about since it tows perfect even in high winds it doesnt try to walk on the road for me. Thanks guys.

Re: Towing my capri

You need to check whether the axle is mounted squarely to the trailer frame. Measure from the left spring perch to the tongue, and then take the corresponding measurement on the right. Be sure to use the exact corresponding points. The measurements should be exactly the same.
