Towing vehicle

Hey guys new to the site, so my question. Iv got a 1998 Lexus Es300 the handbook and wiki both say the towing capacity is 2000 pounds (front-wheet drive), i plan on getting a 14ft jon boat with motor. Will my car be able to tow this and get in and out of slanted cement boat dock? Also will i be able to push around the boat on the trailer by itself? Any help is appreciated

I used to tow & pull out a 1961 14' fiberglass Starcraft with a 45hp and steel trailer with a 1987 Ford Escort 5-spd (manual) on a crappy ramp. :) It wasn't ideal & I don't recommend it, but that's a long way from what you have & it did it well enough (I only towed 1 mile on a quiet road & I know it wasn't legal at all). I suspect you'll be just fine. I'd guess your boat will be in the 1000-1200 lb range with the trailer (maybe less).
