It seems that the Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept. has found it necessary for anyone out there to be able to retrieve your personal info by typing in the registration numbers off your boat instantly on the web. This poses a risk of someone seeing you (or me) fueling up at 5am, or launching our boats, and know we won't be home for several hours. This is a possible risk to us, our property, and god forbid our families while we're on the water.
I plead with everyone to write a respectful request for this info to not be so easily available to just anyone. I have nothing to hide. And if someone wants my info, they should be able to contact TPWD and get it. Just not instantly.
