I am somewhat new to boats, but am learning quick. my 99 tracker has developed a leak, which I believe to be in the plumbing. the rivets are all tight, and no damage to the hull or transom, so the plumbing......the bilge pump is leaking water when running, and the live well valve/pump joint is dripping as well. however, I believe the water is leaking worse elsewhere. my suspicion is in one of the two hoses that run under the fuel tank. one is the live well drain and the other i think is maybe connected to the floor drains? not sure though. anyhow tracker is no help and it appears that I am in for a bit of work. so my questions are, does anyone have any info or photos of work they have done in this area? I will be removing the fuel tank and live well as to ensure ALL plumbing and fittings are in good working order. photos of the rear deck area minus carpet and/or flooring would be helpful. I am hoping someone has done work in this area and have some photos. I am real mechanically inclined. I just like to research real well before I dig into something new. thanks guys.

Sounds like you found plenty to do in your off season.

I would fix the leaks you know about before tearing the boat up that way you can tell how bad the other spot is leaking.

Maybe it will be easier to just tear up the floor and replace it all, never done a Tracker before.

I have redone a Sea-Nymph and alot of the hoses were inside the foam, like they layed all the hose then sprayed in the foam.

Your call but either way that is no fun working in the bilge, I need to replace my livewell this winter and not looking forward to that.

I have a drain, pump in/out and recirculate as well as a light so there is alot back there and not much room to work.

What model Tracker do you have?

Posting pics of your boat will get you the best help.

Check your speedometer pitot tube, it may be leaking. Crtters like to chew on these sometimes.

Here's a few pics of my '97 Tracker Pro Deep V when I took it apart to re-do the interior.

Your decking will be held down with exposed fasteners, you just have to dig around in the carpet pile to find and remove them. The reason for this is so you can make below deck repairs without having to rip up your carpet, and it's something you don't want to change.

it isn't the pitot tube because it will take on water while sitting still. last time out it was in the water tied up for 25 minutes, just long enough to change out trailer bunks, and it had an inch of water in it. I believe the leak is in the live well system, just don't know which part. i am going to fill it with a hose and see what happens. unfortunately, the overflow hose(i think) is run under the tank. but the only things under the water line are the drain plug, live well intake, and the third which I think is the live well overflow. so it has to be one of them.
