Rebuilt my carbs to correct an idling problem. Took it out saturday for a test. Idled fine, accelerated fine, WOT was great...for a few minutes...until it started bogging...just like a clogged high-speed carburetor passage.
Who knows what kind of particles it could have picked up in my garage. Probably a dog hair or something. Back to the dock, now, can anybody tell me why the dang airbox needs 19 dang screws?
Anyways I didn't even load the boat, just blasted some b-12 though the hi-speed jets.
I had no idea that I could get so much more power without the air silencer or cowling. Ran great after that, until...now it's cutting out at hi speed...the primer bulb is collapsing...no prob I got that covered...until...whatever's next. gotta love it.
