Been doing a ton of work to my trailer, coming out nice. Replaced all bolts, crossmembers, axles....
Also the upright "bolsters" or stanchons that support the 4 bunks I have. These are Tie Down brand Typical universal
bolsters. I have some 8,10,12 inches. Its a 20' Walkaround with 140hp Not super heavy, dual axle EZ Loader.
I purposely maked them all with a marker, where the crossmembers intersected the Bolster. First trip out, checked at the ramp. and noticed 3 of them lowered or slipped some. About 1-2" and the boat is noticably tilted and almost against the fender on one side.
I had these square U bolts pretty tight. Is it just a matter of tightening more? or is there something I can do further to prevent future Slippage?
