trailer brakes

IM changing my axle. My brakes are electric. My question is does the selonoid go on top or the bottom. I saw no markings. They are on the top now and the brakes work fine. But im just wondering.

The magnet should be below the spindle.

OK cool I thought that was the answer simply because that is whee the adjuster is on any other drum brake I have ever done. Thanks

If they are on top why would you think about changing it?
