I have a 1990 Key west 17ft that sits on a coast line aluminum trailer that is probably 7 or 8 years old. This is a nice trailer and has served me well but I would like to clean it up and make is look more clean. I use the boat in salt water 99.43% of the time (exact figure). So it has the normal look of a aluminum salted trailer. I always rinse it when done but is there a cleaner on the market now that will polish up the trailer and make it look nicer. I plan on taking off the reflective tape before cleaning the trailer and putting new tape back on but was justing wondering if anyone has had experence.

Thanks,

Will

Re: Trailer cleaning

if you want it clean but not shiney take it to a semi truck wash, they have an acid wash that they use on the aluminum wheels and tanks.
