Hello ,
i have a 2004 venture trailer that has sat for a few years and the lug nuts would spin the studs in the drum i had to heat them up red hot to get them off , I never had this proublem with any of my other brand of trailes that i have owned even my 1978 8000 pound ez loader never had this troubble.I need to replace all 20 of them with new studs and nuts , can i use any studs from the nappa store that will match up with ss bolts ? Are the ones used on boat trailers diffrent? . i can order ones on line but they would not get hear for the weekend . and i need to get it going any ideas? THANKS JD

Re: trailer drum studs replacement

No matter where you buy studs,I think you will have a problem making them tight in the hub. If the old ones spun that bad,the hole is worn oversize in the hub. You will need a new hub.
