I have a new to me 1984 Bayliner Trophy Bass boat, and a 1987 Tennessee trailer. She does not sit right. What is the right way to set this up. The issues are
1. the boat does not sit on the bunks except at the rear of the trailer. 2. The bow stop seem too high. 3. The boat makes contact over bumps with the fenders (which are welded on). All advice appreciated.

Are the bunks adjustable or welded?

all trailers need to be adjusted for the boat they are on.

if you have a trailer with welded bunk brackets, it is for a very specific hull and most likely not the hull you currently have on the trailer.

The stand are welded to the frame but i could fabricate brackets I guess to make up the difference. back of the boat sits on the bunk

front is about 8 inches off the bunks. Bow stop is about 24 inches tall. all the bass boat trailers i see the bow stop is maybe 13 inches tall

Jack the boat up off the trailer so it is level with the trailer (not ground). Adjust as needed to get it to sit how it should. Then measure distance to determine what needs to be extended

Being a bass boat it shouldn't take a lot. Place jacks on the keel, the keel can support the entire load. Use blocks or other things to keep boat level on the sides
