Picked up a used boat and the trailer has no ID tag. I have looked at several Mfg's web sites and I'm trying to determine if I have enough trailer for my boat. If I can find out who made the trailer it would help a lot.

Tilt style trailer is 19" long, 78" wide overall, 64" outside of frames, tounge is 3" square, 2 bunk, 3 - 8" rollers, 1 - 4" roller, Year of boat is 1984, trailer seems to be original to boat but can't be sure. No Title. Tires are rated at 1500#s each if I remember correct.

The boat is 16' 9" long, 81" wide, Boat and trailer weighed in at Apprx. 2300#on local gravel scale, no motor, boat at time made was stated at 1670#'s. That would leave 630#'s for trailer, misc waterlogged stuff and water in boat. Assume trailer to be about 500#s, That would leave 130#s for 10 waterlogged vests, cover, plus other misc junk, and water in the boat.

If I read it right the info I have seen for new trailers states I don't have enough trailer if I weigh 2300# without a motor, 73 - 135 Evinrude to be mounted 300#'s ???, plus gear. Most of the new trailers similar size are rated at 1800 to 2300 #'s Is this rating without the weight of the trailer?

Goal is to make sure I have enough trailer, If I do maybe add a 2nd axle if able.

Any Ideas on who made this one?
