Has anyone had any experience or feed back regarding Venture Trailers I believe out of Maryland. Going to replace my old ez loader roller with a new bunk trailer, reason being old ez loader has a bent spindle, rusted ubolts and also needs new tire and a paint job. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

A new axle with springs & mounting hardware would be a whole lot less than a new trailer I’d imagine. I’ve priced replacing my single 5000 lb axle & suspension before & I think it came in we’ll under $1000 total.

Depending on how fancy you want the paint to be that that could be done cheaply with some prep & a few spray cans of primer & color. My trailer is galvanized with a plasticy/rubber coating called “Gatorskin” or something. When the coating comes off in places or looks faded I just cover the spot with spray-on bedliner & carry on.

Yes, I'd suggest looking into the price of replacing the axle and any other running gear hardware as well. My guess would be under 500. per axle. Compare whatever you get to the price of a new trailer and see which plan makes the most sense. If the old trailer frame is in good shape, new running gear underneath it would make it last a long time!
