Trailer Lights

I'm having trouble with my rear trailer lights. I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma truck, with a 6 pin hook up with a 4 pin adapter.

The brake and turn signals work fine with the truck head lights off, but when I turn them on, the right rear brake light on the trailer stays on and the turn signal barely works? The left light works fine? Any Ideas?

...triple check your ground connection from the P/U, through six-pin, into the adaptor and finally at the trailer. Insufficient ground will cause all kinds of weird lighting.

Possible its a corroded socket or a bulb with a crossed filament.
Im thinking its in that one light somewhere. Test the wires at that light individually, Im betting the wiring is good and its in the light.
