Trailering Clips for VP 2001 DP-SM?

I just recieved the Sierra trailering clips I ordered from iBoats (fast service, BTW!)...but they are too short...looked on the back and it says 2007 and newer. They are about 8" or less long, and my trim rams are 10.5" fully extended. So..gotta return them.

Looked all around before I ordered them, and this part number is the only one that comes up for a VP DP-xx outdrive...what am I missing?? Is Sierra the only manufaturer? Any suggestions appreciated. I know they exist, since the first boat I looked at was a 2001 and had a pair on them. It wasn't a DP outdrive, but the rams were (as best my memory serves me) longer than 8".

I use trailering clips. but I lower my Volvo SX drive down a little
till it touches the clips. Does yours need to be fully extended when trailering?

You have a different Volvo drive than the DPS-A used from 2007 till now. They don't seem to be listed specifically, but the OMC Cobra clips are the same thing.

You have a different Volvo drive than the DPS-A used from 2007 till now. They don't seem to be listed specifically, but the OMC Cobra clips are the same thing.
