Trailering larger boats

Hey guys. I’m looking at a larger boat (Rinker Captiva 282). My plan would be to trailer it somewhat regularly as we like to boat in different areas. There is even a 1200 mile trip we would like to take trailering the boat. This boat is wider than what the max width is allowed on the road. It comes in at 9 feet. My vehicle has no problems pulling it. 2019 F350.

What do you guys who trailer larger boats do?

Thanks in advance for the insight!

Check with the state regs in your area, but in most cases it won't be an issue. I use to pull my 27PC which is 9.5 beam and never had a issue. So long as you don't get on restricted roads (narrow ones) you probably won't even get a look. Around here so long as your not 10ft its ok

Speaking about trailering boats, do you normally trailer it with the cover on or off. say taking it to a destination about 3 hours away. Is it ok, to use my cover I keep on it at home and just ensure its secure?

Probably, you'll do better starting your own topic, rather than tagging your question on to someone else's thread. (Around here, that's known as 'hijacking' a thread.) Do a forum search on trailering with a cover and you'll no doubt find many topics (your question is something that is regularly asked). If they don't answer your question, feel free to start your own topic.
