Tramsome Mount trolling motor on the BOW

Hey folks, i have a 14 starcraft, i also have a transome mount style trolling motor, i would like to mount it on the bow, do any of you have an idea for this without making a ton of Mod's to the boat?<br /><br />thanks in advance.<br /><br />Tom

That should work if the shaft on your motor is long enough. I think you can probably change the orientation between the control head and the motor itself 180 degrees. They're all different, but I know some can be changed by removing a bolt where the shaft meets the head or the motor, turning the two 180 degrees, then reinstalling the bolt. <br /><br />Good luck with that.

I welded up a bracket that looks like that thing from cabela's. I made it out of old lawn mower blades I had around my garage. Worked nice, and was the right price. Mine was for my minn-kota endura 50. Like TO said above, just had to remove one bolt and swing the head 180.

Yup, spun the head on my Minn-Kota Endura and atatched it to a homemade L-bracket. Works fine.
