transducer location on factory installed depth gauge

i have a 96' sunbird corsair 200 cuddy and the the depth gauge that was installed at the factory isn't working/disconnected,because there was a fishfinder/depth finder installed at a later date.i was hoping to reconnect the factory depth gauge.any input would be greatly appreciated.

If it is disconnected, re-connect it. If it is not working, determine why. The transducer is probably mounted as a shoot through hull and is likely located in the bilge area. It would be attached to the hull in any of a number of ways including mounted in a puddle of epoxy. If it is loose, it must be reinstalled as transducers can't shoot through air.
