Transducer Repacement Pro Guide V16

Can anyone help on running a new transducer cable on my 2006 Tracker Pro Guide V16 SC. The one from the console to the transom? Looks pretty difficult to run the cable down the side panel, unless there is a way to completely remove it but don't know if that's possible to get it all the way off. Hope somebody has experience doing this.
