The zodiac is usually set up like this.

Great for blasting around, surf runs, wakeboarding and taking three to poach on concerts by the bay (a comfortable folding chair fits in the front nicely for the show). But wifey wants to take a couple of friends. So I had to be creative to supply two full seats upfront. I built another bench top that is longer. Places my console out over the tube. Not good for speed, but just fine for the slow No Wake run to the concert.

The boat handles the weight out over the tube surprisingly well. The zodiac reverts to original format after the concert tonight. Hmmm, What's next for my transformer?

Re: Transformer Futura

Do I have to answer that question? In this case, where I took the visiting couple of friends we went to see Tears For Fears. This was not on my original poaching list. Though I was some what embarassed to be going to see this eighties band, I did know all of the songs. I roll out to whatever our friends want to see, have caught Chicago and Lyle Lovett recently. Ledward Kaapana, Hawaiian slack key guitar master, now that was my pick! Looking forward to Rat Dog with Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead and the Bon Taj Roulet show (Bonnie Rait and Taj Mahal). It is a fun evening, it does get crowded on the water and there are lots of inexperienced boaters acting foolish.
