does any one know how to free a stuck transmission on a 1979 mercruser tr2 outdrive.i was coming into dock the boat the other day and it just stuck in gear.the boat has twin 305 chevy motors with merc controls and mercruiser out drives.i have been told that the clutch pack may be frozen.if this is the case is this a big expense and can it be freed up while still in the water?its the starboard engine that is stuck.any advice would be greatly apreciated.
