I've searched through this forum and cannot seem to find a solution. Please help if possible, my son and I would greatly appreciate it..... My boat /motor configuration does not allow for a tilt-tube mount , and the transom and or splashwell mount doesn't have room to be installed(and would not be sufficient in length to turn the motor both directions fully) There may be enough room to use a part of a Transom MOunt (tube) and somehow install it in the small space between the clamp on housing, but I would need a link arm, I assume?... iboats madtom2.jpg

anyone ideas?... no matter how I try to place the link arm(not pictured here) I have, it doesn't allow the full turning radius for the steering, regardless of the position or placement of the steering cable. Is there an acceptable tolerance? 75% of full turning radius
