hi everyone, im looking to add some more storage and to change the way my transom looks.

i have now built two boxes attached to the transom, but i dont know what would be the best way to shape them.

please check the pictures attached, im currently looking into two options, one with the hood being in an angle, and the other with the hood just plain flat.

i would appreciate any recommendations.

I vote for flat, or even asthetically better, keep the same plane as the top of the gunnel.

What do you plan to put in these boxes? battery? oil tank? general storage? Where are the doors to be located? top or front side?

Just wondering, cause it looks like there is no splashwell, and if you will be adding a splashwell, it would be nice to integrate the storage boxes with the splashwell.

Looks like a nice project, like the wide gunnels.

Ok, now I'm rambling....

I wuld be very careful about how much weight you put back there. A stern heavy boat will "porpoise".
