transom assembly

i need to replace the transom assembly on my 1978 searay with the 350ci. it looks like it has the pre alpha transon ***. but a alpha 1 ring. can i use a transom assembly from a 6cyl. or even a 4cyl. of the same type. alpha 1 gen 1

Yes, you can, but you will need to re-use the inner mount or get one like it as they are different for the V8.........
