I have an 1976 Johnson Seahorse 85EL76 that needs<br />a tilt/trim assembly. It could use a complete transom bracket with tilt/trim assembly. Seems these are a bit tough to find, so can I use a later model bracket complete from transom out? I see that the newer brackets have on piston where mty old unit has two. If you look at the engine housing as well as the shaft housing it looks like it can be done. HELP!!! Thanks!
