Hello. I have purchased a used Springbok/Prince Craft boat and do not have the drain plug as I assumed the plug out of my Starcraft would fit. Well the drain hole in the Springbok is only 3/4". I have searched and can only find 1" and up dia.drain plugs. Can anyone please advise where I can get a plug to fit the 3/4" drain.
Thanks
Ron

Yes thanks Wimusky. I saw these advertized, but wasn't sure if you could use them in the transom.

Normally you would not but if that is the only thing that fits then you either have to change it or go with what is available.

Ace Hardware carries a good variety of pipe plugs...some press in, some screws to tighten, others with toggle tightener.....take your pick.....

Another solution... drill for the bigger plug. (oversize, and then coat the hole with epoxy based filler and re drill to the right size for the plug)

WalMart here carries 2 sizes the stopper drain plugs and 2 sizes of the plastic screw in types.

iboats carries a bunch of different styles/sizes of plugs.

Not in an aluminim boat ^^^

All the Springboks/Princec Crafts I've seen posted were tin, plus the Starcraft reference....

Thanks for the replys guys. I ended up buying a 3/4" live well plug. I tried it but was nervous because of its shorter length inside the transom. I ended up taking my 1" plug and machining the rubber and washer down to fit the 3/4" hole. I feel much better with this full length plug.
