Transom questions

I am making my new transom (2-3/4" & 1-1/2" for 2" thick), & couple questions. I am using polyester resin, Should I glue all the pieces together ahead of time with PL or glass them together with mat or cloth screwing them together with stainless screws. Then glass or glue to hull, then 3 layers over all?

i make it one piece, then install.

So I could put the whole thing together with PL & glue it to the hull with PL, Then glass over it with no problems?

I did mine in 3 sheets of 1/2" and put them in one at a time. Either way works. Do what you feel will be the easiest installation. The end result is the same.
