Transom repair

Hi: I need to replace the transom on my 1992 Alumacraft. First question is how do I remove the motor? 50hp force. Do I disconnect at the motor or at the controls? Any advise is appreciated.

Disconnect everything at the motor end.
What does it weigh?
150lbs? maybe 2 guys and have a stand ready.
