have a weak transom what I mean is when you push on outdrive you can see the transom flex. After pulling engine found one side of transom had a crack down low on starboard side the rest of the transom loked good as far as I could see but I suppose it could be weakend from water getting by seal. Lost 3 engine couplings this so I'm having transom repaired. I'm wondering if you guys think this could have been the problem. Also the guy at fiberglass shop is saying just to replace transom between the stringers is this going to be strong as should be he thinks it is. He used to build boats.
