Does anyone know any tricks or loop holes to save me time and money on replacing my transom and floor on my 1990 Kenner 21 ft. center console? I am thinking about aluminum diamond plate flooring (any pros or cons?) I would appreciate any comments or ideas. thanks Tim

Try SEACAST. It is a composite mix easy to mix and will replace the old plywood and fiberglass method. You will have a sturdy transom that will last a lifetime. I did mine and am very happy after seen all the time and money saved. On floor, I dont know about you but I had my floor done in fiberglass. I had fiberglass molds done with PVC tubing cutted in halves to make a rib- like reinforced structure every 2' apart. It worked perfectly and the strenght is unbelievable. Weight? about the same equivalent to plywood encapsulated in fiberglass...
