transom replacement

I have a starcraft 1965 18ft. cuddy that i want to replace the transom. I don't know how to remove the 4 bolts on each end of the transom. I don't have enough room between the side of the boat and the splashwell to get at the nuts. any help would be greatly appreciated.

We will need some pictures for that, unless one of the Starcraft guys chimes in.

Sounds like you may have to remove the splash well. You have to remove all the screws along the bottom anyway then its just a matter of drilling out some rivits along the gunwales.

Or

Get someone with small hands to help.
