I am almost ready to put my rebuilt 350 Chevy back into my boat with an AQ290 with DP. My question is I can see one oring since it was on the back of the intermediate housing when I pulled the engine. I can't see the second one. I did not pull the outdrive, I only pulled the gearbox. The plate with the six bolt holes through it does not appear to fit out the back of the outdrive so I can't see behind it. The outside oring is probably behind it. Do I need to grease both of these orings (inside and outside) when I put the motor back in or just the one on the inside? If both need greasing, how do I get the plate off to clean and grease? Also, do I need to seal the 6 bolts with anything (silicon, grease etc.) when I put them in? Thanks!
