I have a 1995 Force 40hk, using it in combination with a 1982 15" Skibsplast; regarding transport, I want to use the tilt position on the motor but I got the feeling this will give to much stress on the boat, could this be correct? What could be a solution for this problem? Wouldn't rather use the down position because than it is in very close contact with the ground.

Thanx.

It is difficult to see in the photo, but it looks like you have a very short transom boat, that should use a motor with a 15" shaft.
It looks like the motor is a 20" shaft.

This will cause several performance issues with the boat.

The enigine is 'langstammet' (don't know the correct word in english) but it is the long version, as recommended by the maufacturer of the boat. The engine support looks like an ideal solution, i'll try to find one for Norway.
