traveling spark on 84 90 hp

When I first started out the uper plug on the left side of the motor didn't really hav

have a strong spark so I replaced the power pack. I thought I fixed the problem because now I had a strong spark on the upper cylinder. But now the lower cylinder, on the same bank, has a weak to non-existant spark. Before I go throwing any more parts at this stupid thing does anyone have any ideas?

Check for spark to all cylinders. Spark should jump a 1/4" gap at least with a bright blue snap.<br /><br />Try switching coils, plug wire & plug to see if the problem moves.
