So I was clearing sdome trees at a house I owned about 15 years ago. Got a 18" thick oak hung up in it's brothers. Went to my Dad's house to get a big rope but he was gone and the place was locked up like Fort Knox (What is it with old people and their 14 locks and deadbolts?). So I go back and look at it and it is leaning at least 45 degrees down hill (I lived on a side hill). OK, I parked my truck on the Uphill side, should be safe there, right? Got to work the next day with my wife's Chevette (ugh)and about noon she calls me and says "Honey, you won't believe w2hat just happened". A big ol' gust of wind blew up the driveway and lifted that tree back the other way, busted the roof, hood, fender and windshield of my truck, and broke the windshield out of my plow Scout. Damn!

Now I knock them down with the bulldozer, it amy not be as pretty but they always go down all the way.

Re: Tree cutting

Its a known fact that Chevettes have Tree repellent systems .. one has never been destoyed by a falling tree .. any other owned car or truck will get it everytime
