can anyone tell me the pro's and cons of a tri hull boat. In my area they are fairly inexpensive. Thanks
I have had a mod-v, sucked on choppy water, however it was a tiller and I had to stand to drive to see over the passengers. Also have had a deep v, an 18 footer, and even in choppy water it was rough and hard to steer. Both were aluminum. Mostly I fish. like to anchor and fish for awhile, maybe move here and there. But mostly anchor and fish. I like the idea of having the room on the front and back to fish from. Especially from the front. but also my son loves to be pulled on the tube. Another thing is the one I am looking at has a standard gm v6 in it which makes it easy for me to work on and find parts
No I only assumed that since it was gm based most external parts would be universal. Like carb, distributer, etc. The one I was looking at is an omc, however it is based off a gm engine. I look at outboards and have no clue, but I figured a gm motor might be different. I know they are different from a normal gm motor, however tuning and such should be similar
this is a good sized one it is an 18 footer
trying to decide if this is the one for me. Wife wants to be able to take her parents. Plus dogs, plus shoot me the head
