i like to pay respect to BILLY VERBANAS. THE BEST SALT WATER FISHERMEN ON THE MID-ATLANTIC SEABOARD.. billy was skipper of his off-shore charter boat REEL-A-LISTIC... billy was a good guy .. type of man , that if you just spent 2 minutes around ,, he left a lastin' impression on you.. a very special man..

he was charter fishin' the other day.125 miles out off delaware coast.. fishin' for mako witch BILLY was famous for... he was helpin' to boat a big shark .. and the wire leader wrapped BILLY up an the shark pulled him under ...

BILLY was only under for 30 to 40 seconds when he popped up to the surface.. presumeably dead.. an altopsy will be preformed..
i think in that short-of-time,,the shark pulled him down way to deep.. to deep to fast..
BOY,,,, WILL BILLY BE MISSED ..

A sad story I hate to see anyone go.

If there is any good to be found in this I would say he passed on doing what he wanted to do.

Bob
