We got about 4 sets of kids last night, all in great costumes. Most people here know each other so the kids go out alone. My knee-jerk reaction sometimes is one of shock, though, as one girl wasn't more than 7-8 years old and travelling alone (we don't have street lights here, so it gets
dark). A couple of kids had auto-escorts while it was drizzling. What horrible timing on the rain, it was sunny all day, then began raining around 6pm. From the looks of the pillow case one girl was carrying, they didn't suffer in the candy department. I allowed them a handful of candy to ensure I didn't have leftovers ... let the parents pay for the dentist, so I don't have to
