Tried to identify my 150 Mariner to no avail

I have tried many websites to identify my Mariner 150 outboard. It is an oil injected V-6 that runs well. I want to pick up a manual for it, but I'm having trouble matching the serial number to a year model. The serial number is 08144478. From what I have been able to glean thus far, this is a 1990 model. Can anyone out there verify this? Is it possible the first digit is a D instead of a 0? <br /><br />Thanks in advance!!!

merc parts express is down right now but you # is probably 0B144478

I'm pretty sure the second digit is an 8. The only unclear digit is the first one. I took a really clear photo of the s/n but I don't know how to upload to this forum as of yet.

How does a 1986 MARINER 150 EXLPTO sound for serial #0B144478 ?

That would make sense, the boat is a 1986 18' Center Console. That is the most 8 looking B I've ever seen!!! Anyone know about the reliability/ performance of this motor???

my 88 mag ll has a very similar ser nu. its a 150 v-6
