triggers on stator

anyone know about triggers on stator also how to get flywheel off to have a look at stator.is it right hand thread or left hand.

First, do yourself a favor and obtain a service manual for your specific engine. Without it you will get yourself into more trouble than you bargained for. As Joe said, when you ask for advice, it would be nice to know what engine you are talking about (year, make, model, HP).<br /><br />The nut that holds the flywheel on is generally right-hand thread. To remove the flywheel you need a puller. It is held to the crankshaft via taper-fit and a key. DO NOT beat on the flywheel with a hammer and do not use a jaw-type gear puller. Pull the flywheel using the threaded holes near the hub.

150 hp v6 1979 johnson got flywheel off just to check wires were in place checked continuity on all wiring all seams finewhat could it be

Joe, he's got 2 threads going on the same thing. It's only running on 3. <br /><br />Maybe JB or someone can combine these two????
