trim and tilt for Evenrude outboard

Hello<br />I have a 85 or 86 evenrude 110 outboard on my boat. I wish to put a power trim and tilt on it. Does anyone have one that they have been happy with that they could recommend to me. The ones I Have looked into is a panther for around 900 dollars and a CMC for around 500 dollars. Please send comment.<br />thanks

Horse,<br />I have never heard a bad comment about the CMC units. I have never had to use one before, but they do seem to have a good reputation. Maybe others who have firsthand experience will comment.

Also, do a search at the top of this page and put in CMC. You can read for hours about aftermarket T&T units.

I installed the CMC trim & tilt unit on my Dads 16' bass boat with a 60 Evinrude and the CMC unit performed very well .... <br /><br />The CMC did trim up a bit faster than the Evinrude Original Equipment trim & tilt but it's still ok...

Thanks<br />I put the CMC on it ran me less than 400 - I installed it myself.<br />it makes a world of difference in the performance of this little boat.<br />thanks
