Hi

I've just replaced all the bellows and refitted the sterndrive. Unfortunately the starboard trim cylinder has extended too far to get it into the the anchor pin, the port cylinder is fine.

Tried lifting the sterndrive to attach it then push on the sterndrive, but it is just about an inch to far out. Earlier my wife nudged the Land Rover up to it to give it a nudge but I chickened out when it didn't move at all.

Anyone got any other idea's?

Ayuh,... Push it in enough to attach the drive on the most extended cylinder, 'n catch the retracted cylinder as the weight of the drive causes 'em to equalize...

Ayuh,.... Donno why not,...
It should push in, pushin' the other 1 out...

Disconnect the lines, 'n bleed off some oil maybe...

Re: Trim Cylinder question

Thank you so much Bond o that did the trick.

I thought removing the hydraulic line may do the trick but didn't have the courage to undo it until you confirmed it.

Thanks again. :)
